- Dudes. Guess what he’s eating now! I might not give this one away and let people guess in the comments so I can laugh at all of your not-insane-enough guesses. The only clue I’ll give you is that once a year P gets sensitive to whatever he’s been eating and has to be switched to a combination of a TOTALLY NOVEL protein (i.e., one he’s never even tasted before in his LIFE) and a totally novel carbohydrate. He’s already been through tuna, bison, pork, rabbit, tapioca, sweet potato, chickpeas. He’s probably allergic to rice, wheat, beef, chicken and turkey.
- As a result of his crazytunes new diet, he has gained 10 pounds, which has forced us to change his tacky nickname from Spiney to Pork-u-Piney.
- My new job lets me work from home, so far, and so P is happier and more content than we’ve seen him in ages.
- Training with Jolanta continues to be awesome.
- He continues to love his occasional babysitter, Alex. I’ll post some of her photos of Piney dressed up in the outfits she inflicts upon him in the next couple of days.

What wonderful reasons to be AWOL! Since it's expensive, Piney is probably eating salmon every day...
Not expensive enough, Karen. Guess again!
I'm going with Garbanzo pinto beans for the protein and pumpkin for the carbohydrate.
And can I just tell you how much I love seeing a HAPPY Piney update!!
OXOX,
Bella's Mom
Ostrich or emu?
Kangaroo???
Great to hear Piney is doing well! Glad you can be at home with him...wish I could do that, but teaching from home doesn't really work. I'm guessing shrimp and barley or squirrel and quiona. That's the wackiest I could come up with!
Sea urchin?
I asked Billy and he went straight for his antler chew so we're going with reindeer!
P.S. don't leave us in suspense for too long...
Caviar? Glad to have some news from you and Piney. I'll bet he's thrilled that you're working from home!
dog? it's that kind of world...
so happy to read he's happy.
Kobe Beef! Only the best for Piney!
caviar?
caviar and oatmeal?
I'm going to guess brushtail or unagi (eel.) I'm stumped about the carbohydrate portion though. And yes, don't keep us in suspense for too long!
Brushtail possum?
