NONE OF YOU guessed right about P’s new diet. My favorite guess came from Celeste: “Dog? It’s that kind of world...”
I’m tempted to just mete out clues over the next few days, but really, how much suspense is anybody really in with regard to the diet of a dog they don’t even know? So I will show you the two main ingreds:

I KNOW, you guys. I know.
ADDENDUM: I was wrong! Someone did guess right! DeniseL, under the cover of anonymity, totally pegged the kangaroo. Cramazing.

Pumpkin is widely available, but kangaroo? Can you buy that on a street corner in NY? Not here is Detroit...
@KMB: We get the main diet shipped to us from a great company that I'll post about in the next week. But we also get extra kangaroo meat from a butcher in Queens (that I'll also post about). Next, you live in Detroit? That's my beloved hometown.
oh hello :) good to see you back! i'm too late to guess but...sounds like a good low-fat combo. looking at your last post and the things porkupiney [too good!] is allergic to, i wonder if that's why my 2 are getting tummy troubles all of a sudden. hmmm...
Hey, I got the pumpkin part right!
Never would have guessed the 'Roo part. Never in a million!
Pass our love along to Piney please :-)

I'm the person who guesssed kangaroo last week, but I forgot to guess for the carbohydrate source...
I thought kangaroo because some members in the Canine Lymphangiectasia Support group (run by Louie's Mom) have been trying it as a novel source protein for their dogs who also have IBD...They'll be very interested to know about your butcher in Queens.
Denise! You did guess right! I didn't even catch it; I'm so sorry!
More important: Please tell me more about this Canine Lymphangiectasia Support Group!
