Walk of Shame
Today’s tip: If it’s Fashion Week, and you live in Chelsea, don’t take your muzzled pit bull to the dog run by the West Side Highway via 22nd Street wearing your working-from-home taking-the-dog-out wardrobe of old “relaxed fit” jeans and your husband’s company T-shirt, because you might just find yourself accidentally walking RIGHT NEXT to Carine Roitfeld, Anna Wintour and Anna Dello Russo and also a bunch of people you work with and you will feel so gross and ashamed and you will pretend you don’t see them and hope they are doing you the same favor!

You have to walk tall and wear those work from home/take the dog for a walk clothes like you MEAN IT!

I walk the dogs in the morning in my jammies, but I live on a dirt road out in the country and only my neighbors have to see it.
that sounds like my humans' everyday walk the dogs wardrobe. plus sometimes they go out in the morning without brushing their teeth. i didn't know they should be more fashionable. i am now embarrassed. thanks for the tip! xox

I make like the old man who exposes himself to children by sporting a trenchcoat over my highwaters and wonder woman tee shirt. I keep a hat in the pocket to deal with the rest of it. only my dog know how unfashionable I am. and he doesn't care (cause I'z gots the snacks in the other pocket).
