We are the luckiest people in the world, and Piney the luckiest dog, because his bestie Alex, whose absence at day care for the past couple of months he has mourned frequently and vocally, has agreed to come over and stay with him when we go out of town.
So two weekends ago we went to one of our favorite places for our anniversary, and then this past Sunday I went to a friend’s wedding in Provincetown, and we didn’t worry about him at all, because the person who was watching him is the kind of person who took all these pictures while she did so:
He probably can’t wait till we leave again.

It's so great to be able to go away and leave your pets with someone who you know will really care for them. I'm always anxious when I leave, but I know my sitter is good to them, so I can relax. (And I just have regular weirdo cats.) I'm so pleased for you guys.

oh, oh, my stay-at-home human can't stop smiling : ) piney is SO very cute. she particularly loves the little brown smudge on his mouth. hehe. se doesn't think i'm quite as cute, but what does she know eh?:p
my humans are going away for a day soon and because they can't find a dogsitter who can handle me, or leave me behind in case i eat up the house, they've decided to take me along. YAY!
