Any Means

In other unusually good news, P will now go down the stairs with me and even leave the building if I want him to. Which I often do! What worked in the end was playing a lot of scent and touch games in the stairwell (ew, “touch games”!), having Ira waiting outside for us sometimes, and—and yes I am totally ashamed to admit this—kind of PULLING him a little bit to get his feet moving toward the door. I know you’re not really supposed to do that type of thing but I was at the end of my rope!
